Our Pastor & Associate Pastor

Pastor LC Williams was led to California in his young adult life after serving in various areas of ministry in different states. He was introduced to the gospel by his grandparents and mother at a very young age. Once here in California, the Holy Spirit commissioned him to open a church and name it Another Alternative Praise & Prayer Center. Giving people Another Alternative to traditional religion, and allowing people to be free in their praise and worship to God.

After Another Alternative Praise & Prayer Center opened its doors in April 2000, Pastor LC Williams met his wife First Lady Roxanne Williams. She leads our women’s ministry and has been a children’s bible instructor for over ten years. In May 2020, the Holy Spirit lead Pastor LC Williams to ordain First Lady Roxanne Williams and make her the Associate Pastor. Together they head the strong church leadership and do their best to set a living example of a leading a Christ-like life.

Many lives have been saved, healed and changed as well as families and marriages have been restored through the ministry and the gifts God has placed upon Pastors LC and Roxanne Williams. They love to watch God mold and develop someone into living up to their fullest potential. God has continued to use them to help many, however, they will always reach out and search for that one lost soul.

Pastor L.C. and First Lady Roxanne Williams are the leaders of Another Alternative Praise & Prayer Center. Under their leadership are several branches of ministry at Another Alternative. We lead a strong team of ministers, Deacons, Deaconess, Ushers, Bible Study teachers, and various other auxiliaries who all have a devout love for God and help define and spread the Love of Christ through the sharing of His word in ministry. As leaders, they take pride in helping people build a stronger relationship in Christ. Making sure that they fulfill their purpose in what God has for everyone’s life. They believe if you have a dream or a goal that with the help of encouragement and support that every dream is meant to come true and every goal is meant to be achieved. They believe, teach and encourage that; “I (you) can do everything through Him who gives me strength.” (NIV) Philippians 4:13
