We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit’s ability to heal, deliver and transform lives. We are committed to helping you learn how to grow a personal relationship with Christ. Our desire is for you to get to know who Jesus is and His unconditional love for you.

AAPPC is a non-denominational Christian church in Long Beach, Ca.  We were founded by Pastor L.C. Williams who traveled from Louisiana to follow God’s calling to plant a church here in Long Beach. After renting a space for worship for 8 years, in 2008 we opened the doors to our own meeting facility for worship. Our church is rooted in prayer, fasting and spiritual guidance from the Holy Spirit.  We are looking to expand as a church and extend our gospel outreach to share with others both the gospel and powerful testimony.

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor L.C. Williams is from Natchez, Mississippi where he was introduced to God by his grandparents and mother at a very young age.  In his young adult life, he began to work in ministry under his mentor the late Brother Julius Sylvester who helped him deepen and cultivate his relationship with God. 

After serving the Lord by being a Bible worker, a Deacon, an Elder, an Associate Pastor in several different states. God lead Pastor Williams to Long Beach, California to open Another Alternative Praise & Prayer Center in April 2000.  One of Pastor Williams’ favorite scriptures is Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”(NIV)

He believes that God loves His people and desires to reward them with whatever they stand in need of if they have faith and belief in God.  Pastor Williams loves watching God develop people into the best they can possibly become.
